SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (nsuwolves.com)  — Northern State’s defense held strong in the fourth quarter this evening, as they took down Sioux Falls 77-58 in a nonconference matchup. In the game, the Wolves recorded 77 points, 39 rebounds, 12 assists, nine steals and one block while shooting 49.2% from the floor, 41.2% from beyond the arc and 55.6% from the line.

Both NSU’s offense and defense excelled in the fourth, with the offense scoring 26 points and the defense holding the Cougars to seven points in the quarter
Izzy Moore boasted a double-double in her return to her hometown, recording 24 points, 12 rebounds, one assist and six steals while shooting 8-19 from the field, 1-4 from long range and 7-9 from the charity stripe
Carli Kuyper (16 points), Lily Klein (13 points) and Taylor Tool (11 points) joined Moore with double-digit performances, while Klein tallied three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block
Klein wasn’t the only Wolf to have a big game off the bench
Reagan Rus recorded eight points and five rebounds in Northern’s victory, shooting 60% from the field
Morgan Fiedler led the team with five assists and also contributed five points
