ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The suggested donation for Area IV Senior Meals is increasing.

The suggested donation will increase 50 cents to $4.50 starting on Jan. 1.

Emily Richardt, Area IV Senior Nutrition Executive Director, talked about the increase.

She said it is the first time that the suggested donation has gone up in at least eight years.

Area IV covers a 13-county area.

Counties include Brown, Campbell, Corson, Day, Edmunds, Faulk, Marshall, McPherson, Potter, Roberts, Spink, Sully and Walworth.

Richardt said meals are served daily during the week.
