PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- A summer study committee of the South Dakota legislature is meeting Monday to look at the state’s property tax structure.  District 24 Senator Mary Duvall of Pierre is Vice-Chair of the Property Tax Structure and Tax Burden Study Committee.  She says the first meeting will set the course for the summer.

Duvall says the first meeting will include a presentation on G-I-S systems.

Duvall still expects little to no proposed legislation coming from the Committee.

Duvall says all of the meetings of the Committee will be held at the State Capitol in Pierre
