Summer travel season doing well in South Dakota

SOUTH DAKOTA(WNAX)- Falling gas prices are helping fuel a strong summer travel season.

Shawn Steward with Triple “A” South Dakota says they have had good reports across the region.

Steward says there have been some increases in gas demand in the past few weeks.

While gas prices have dropped to the three forty a gallon range, Steward says they may not dip under three dollars for a while.

The national average price is now at three ninety-one a gallon, while the South Dakota average is reported at three eighty nine.
