Fake money in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- Fake money is being circulated in the Aberdeen area. So far, the fakes have been hundred dollar bills that are marked as “For Motion Picture Purposes” near the top. Before accepting large bills, verify that it is legal tender. Any fake bills can be reported to dispatch by calling 605-626-7911.

McPherson County Commission rejects petition on ban of election electronics

LEOLA, S.D. (KELOLAND) — McPherson County rejected a petition that would have banned electronic voting and tabulating equipment from elections after receiving legal advice during an executive session on Tuesday.
