Supporter of IM27 stopped in Aberdeen Sunday

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Supporters of IM27 to legalize recreational marijuana stopped by Aberdeen Sunday as part of their tour across the state.

Deputy campaign manager for South Dakotan for Better Marijuana Laws, Quincy Hanzen talked about the role of dispensaries that could be used for both recreational & medical.

Hanzen talks about the importance of passing IM27 to help protect IM26 which legalize medical cannabis.

There a billboard on North Dakota Street calling the passage of IM27 as being reckless if recreational marijuana is passed.  Hanzen talks about the intelligence of South Dakota voters.

The Associated Press released a story over the weekend dealing with President Biden pardoning those who was convicted on simple marijuana laws.  Hanzen explains what impact that might have on the upcoming election.

The tour is also being used to get people to register to vote for the upcoming election.  The deadline to register for the election is October 24th.
