ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen Police Department in conjunction with the Aberdeen Downtown Association and Aberdeen Economic Development Manager Amber Schwab recently conducted a survey with business owners to check on parking in downtown Aberdeen.

Lt. Brad Jung, who is the Patrol Lieutenant/Parking Manager for downtown since May filed the report with the Aberdeen City Council.

Jung talked about the maintenance of parking lot.

Jung addressed the issue of lease parking.

Those spots would be on Main Street and the avenues connected to them.

Jung expressed the concerns about improving safety and lighting in downtown Aberdeen.

Finally, Jung discussed one of the biggest issues that is to more consistently enforce parking regulations.

Aberdeen Police Department are always looking for more feedback to improve parking in downtown Aberdeen.
