Survey equipment on Jared Bossly’s land

ABERDEEN, S.D.(KELO)- Two weeks ago he was threatened with contempt of court.

Now, heavy survey equipment arrived at his farm from the Summit Carbon Solutions, accompanied by law enforcement officers.

Aberdeen area farmer Jared Bossly is opposed to Summit’s Carbon Capture pipeline.

Ed Fischbach from Mellette describes the scene.

Fischbach says landowners feel deserted by state leaders.

The Public Utilities Commission is scheduled to hold hearings on the Carbon Capture Pipelines later this summer.
