Sutton helping to provide leadership advice

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – At this time last year, Billie Sutton was running as the Democratic candidate for Governor of South Dakota. While he eventually lost that race to Republican Kristi Noem, Sutton has not lost his passion to lead.

He started the Billie Sutton Leadership Institute and is providing an opportunity for individuals to enhance their leadership skills.

The former state senator is also sharing his leadership advice with others, like he did Thursday while speaking in Aberdeen.

Sutton, who was paralyzed in a rodeo accident in 2007, is not sure what the future holds for him. He just wants to take one day at a time and see what happens.

The resident of Burke is watching members of his community rally around each other in wake of a tornado that did extensive damage earlier this month. He organized a GoFundMe page that has currently helped to raise nearly $50,000.
