WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – Members of Congress are not due back in Washington until after Labor Day, so debate of the next economic stimulus bill is on hold.

South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says talks are continuing.

Rounds says they have focused on a number of needs.

Rounds says Democrats have not been serious about negotiating.

The President has said he wants to include another round of individual payments and rolling back the payroll tax.
