CANTON, S.D. (WNAX) – South Dakota legislative leaders have been meeting to plan ways to hold the 2021 session safely in Pierre.
Senator Jim Bolin of Canton, a member of the Executive Board, says there have been ongoing talks.
Bolin says masks will not be mandatory during the session.
Bolin says they want members and visitors to feel safe in the capitol.
Bolin says they have talked about passing special rules that would allow legislative leaders to make quick decisions as the situation changes.
