The crash was reported at 7:35 p.m. near the intersection of 140th Street and 408th Avenue. The two adult drivers had serious injuries that are not life-threatening, according to a news release from Tony Mangan with the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
Dustin Wiseman, 35, of Stratford was driving a 2014 GMC pickup when it crashed into a 2009 Dodge pickup that was parked perpendicularly on a gravel road, according to the release. The body of the Dodge was across part of 140th Street.
The driver of the Dodge was Chad Johnson, 47 of Groton, according to the release. A 15-year-old male passenger of his was outside the vehicle near the front passenger door.
The GMC hit the rear left corner of the Dodge, rotating it counterclockwise, causing it to strike the teen, per the release.
All three people were taken to a hospital.
