Temps in the 40s this weekend will lead to irregular ice conditions

RAPID CITY, S.D.(KOTA)- An irregular winter leads, naturally, to irregular ice conditions – especially as spring gets closer by the day.

Tessa Jaeger, public information officer for the Rapid City Fire Department, reminds outdoors enthusiasts to be careful late in the season.

Jaeger says if a hypothetical person fell into through ice in front of her.

Jaeger made sure to highlight the basics too.

Temperatures in the northeast are expected to remain below freezing through Friday night.
