ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – A local church has decided to give farmers and their families a free breakfast.

The Journey Church is hosting a Farmer Appreciation Breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16.

Jason Kost, an elder at The Journey Church, said the idea is to reach out to farmers and let them know that somebody cares about them and is praying for them.

Kost said this is the first time the church has attempted something like this.

Farmers and their family members can just show up and have a free breakfast.
