The Shed premiered this week at South Dakota State Fair

HURON, S.D.(KOKK)- The SD Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources held a grand opening for The Shed to be build on the SD State Fairgrounds.  Governor Kristi Noem, Lt governor Larry Rhoden and DANR secretary Hunter Roberts were on hand.  Noem said the future sheep facility was a long time in planning.

The estimated cost for the Shed is $8 million with a combination of contributors and state funding.  Plans are to have it ready for use for the 2025 Sd State Fair.
