COLUMBUS, O.H.(WNAX)- Studies now seem to confirm that this spring has been windier than normal.

Aaron Wilson, a climatologist at Ohio State University, moderated this months North Central Region climate update.

Wilson says the winds have put a lot of dust in the air.

Wilson says the derecho earlier this month added to the high wind reports.

Wilson says there is some debate if the ongoing La Nina is partly responsible for the winds, or if it is due to climate change.
