ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Nationally and International recognized artist Judy Thompson will be featured at the Presentation College Wein Gallery through May.

Thompson, who paints people and places of the Great Plains, will lecture from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 1 in the Southeast Building Lecture Hall. Her exhibit is called, Prairie Gleanings: Watercolors by Judy Thompson.

Erin Giovannini, Special Assistant for Project Development and Wein Gallery Curator, talked about the guest artist.

Thompson’s Homestead Series has toured throughout the Midwest in recognition of the 150th anniversary of the Homestead Act.

Giovannini pointed out the contribution of the South Dakota Arts Council.
