Thunder Road celebrating National Miniature Golf Day on Saturday

Aberdeen, SD(Press Release) – Thunder Road is celebrating National Miniature Golf Day on Saturday, May 8th as a kickoff to the 2021 season and a fun way to honor one of America’ favorite pastimes, miniature golf. Thunder Road will continue the festivities on Sunday by honoring moms with a free attraction for Mother’s Day.

National Miniature Golf Day has been officially recognized to be on the second Saturday of each May, and it is published in Chase’s Calendar of Events since 2008, a comprehensive holiday and event reference book.  To celebrate the day, guests who purchase one round of miniature golf will be able to play all day for free on the 18-hole course. Accented by rippling streams, waterfalls, fountains and a fire shooting volcano the course is perfect players of all ages and skill types.

National Miniature Golf Day is just one of many promotions that Thunder Road will be offering Aberdeen residents this May. On Sunday, May 9, Thunder Road is giving the gift of fun to local moms. In honor of Mother’s Day, all moms will get to ride their favorite attraction for free, attractions include: Go-Karts, Euro Bungy, Laser Maze and Mini Golf. For Memorial Day Weekend, Thunder Road will be partnering up with their sister-facility, Allevity Entertainment to offer Aberdeen residents a free $5 game card at Allevity with the purchase of five or more Go-Kart rides over the weekend.
