Senate Majority Leader john Thune was in Aberdeen to talk Agri Business, which included discussion on the Farm Bill. We also asked about the Save Act. Thune told us what the major snag has been in passing the Farm Bill, which is the 5th he has worked on in his career.

Thune went on to say why SNAP and Food Stamps have been so contentious.

While the focus Thursday was on Agriculture, we touched on the Save Act with the Leader.

Thune continued with the option of the Fillibuster and how he doesn’t see that as a viable option.
