WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – South Dakota Senator John Thune says while the Senate is moving ahead on confirming federal judicial appointees, Democrats are making the process difficult.

In a speech on the Senate floor, Thune says they have put a large number of judges on the federal bench.

Thune says despite that, Democrats have put up numerous roadblocks.

Thune called it a “disturbing trend.”

Thune says the Senate is confirming judges that will rule on the law, not make their own.
