Thune says killing Iran leader sent strong message

WASHINGTON, S.D. (WNAX) – Iran struck back at the U.S. last night by firing a number of missiles at two Iraqi bases which house American soldiers.

South Dakota Senator John Thune says every one is waiting now on the reaction from President Trump.

Thune says there is always the danger of unintended consequences.

Thune says the U.S. action in killing General Soleimani (sue-la-mah-knee) has sent a strong message.

Thune says they will receive a more detailed briefing from the Administration today.
