WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – The $2.2 trillion federal rescue plan passed by Congress is a start, but more help will be needed.
South Dakota Senator John Thune says they wanted a plan to get immediate money to people that need it.
Thune says it is a huge spending package.
Thune says they will go back later and try to fix the budgets.
The Senate is now debating another round of funding for the payroll protection plan.
