WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – The federal government is being criticized for an initial slow response to the threat of the coronavirus.
South Dakota Senator John Thune says the extent of the threat wasn’t realized early on.
Thune says the federal response is rapidly ramping up.
Thune says he believes the Trump Administration has good people in place.
Congress has already passed a $2.2 trillion economic rescue plan. Thune says they are ready to do more if necessary.
