WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- It was announced Wednesday by the Watertown School Board they have selected Tiffany Sanderson as the new President of Lake Area Technical College. KXLG News spoke with Sanderson to find out more about the individual that was just handed one of the Nation’s highest-recognized technical schools.
Sanderson first spoke on her appointment to SD Secretary of Education.
Sanderson had a significant impact on the Build Dakota Scholarship program.
Current President Mike Cartney will retire effective December 31st, 2022, and some have said the new President “will have big shoes to fill.”
In Sanderson’s previous roles, she has experience working with LATC and the staff.
Sanderson says she commits to seeing the capital campaigns through, the college continues to grow, and left us with this comment.
