ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – There will be fireworks lit all across the area this weekend during the Fourth of July celebration.

Chad Nilson, Aberdeen Fire Marshal, said the first thing to remember is that fireworks cannot be set off within city limits.

He also provided some common sense tips to shooting off fireworks.

Nilson recommends having items on hand to help extinguish any fires that could take place.

With the hot and dry conditions, it’s also important to look at your surrounding areas before igniting fireworks.
