WINNER, S.D. (WNAX) – One of the big winners in the June second primary was Erin Tobin of Winner. She defeated current House Majority Leader Lee Qualm of Platte in the District 21 Senate primary by a 61-39 percent margin.

Tobin says there needs to be more turnover in the legislature.

Tobin says there could be a number of new members of the legislature in January.

Tobin says she is starting to hear about issues from people in the district.

Tobin will face democrat Dan Kerner Andersson of Burke in the general election.
