MILBANK, S.D.(KXLG)- Earlier this week, Aberdeen businessman Toby Doeden made a campaign stop in Milbank, where he shared his reason for his attempt at taking the state’s top office.
He says that his first task if elected will be to work towards phasing out property taxes.
Doeden believes that eliminating property taxes will make home-buying more affordable for South Dakota residents.
He adds that because of the increase in the state’s budget over the last 8 years, he will create a department aimed at reducing state spending.
Those who would like to hear more about Toby Doeden and other plans he has if elected governor can make plan to see him in Aberdeen on May 29th at Mulligan’s. To RSVP to the event, visit Doeden’s website at TobyDoeden.com.
