WATERTOWN, S.D. (KWAT) — Watertown’s Redlin Art Center opened up in June after being closed for 2 ½ months due to COVID-19.
Julie Ranum is the center’s executive director.
There’s no admission fee to tour the art center, but Ranum says they’ve still taken a financial hit.
They’ve slowly re-opened in phases—by design.
She says COVID-19 has been “devastating” to South Dakota tourism.
Visitors to the art center are required to wear a mask. Masks are provided for people who don’t have one.
