PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- Traffic enforcement isn’t the only area where the Hughes County Sheriff’s Office is putting in hard work. Sheriff Patrick Callahan says the Office has already worked over one-thousand cases this year.
The Hughes County Sheriff’s Office has already done 123 transports this year.
Callahan says the transports are a strain on both staff and equipment.
Callahan says the Office has a limited window to get those needing treatment to facilities, generally within 24 hours of treatment being ordered.
