PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – The next round of economic stimulus is not the only important piece of federal spending hung up in Washington.

South Dakota interim Transportation Department Secretary Joel Jundt told the Transportation Commission that they are waiting on the states federal highway funding.

Jundt says a full federal budget out to next October would be the best situation.

The House and Senate are due back in Washington this week to continue the lame duck session.
