MITCHELL, S.D.(KMIT)- Triple-A is predicting that travel numbers will be up this Labor Day holiday weekend.  Shawn Steward of Triple-A says it is a trend that is continuing from last year.

He says the majority of travelers will be driving.

Steward says the good news for those drivers is that gas prices are about the same as last year.

Drivers are encouraged to use extra caution this holiday weekend due to crowded roadways and extremely hot temperatures.
