Trojan Named WBB Player Of The Week

BISMARCK, ND (PlayNorthStar.com) – The North Star Athletic Association announced their fourth installment of the 2023-24 Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week Monday.  Savannah Walsdorf of Dakota State (S.D.) was selected as the Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week.

Savannah Walsdorf – Dakota State (S.D.) – 6’0” – Senior – forward – Kiel, Wis. – Walsdorf averaged double-double as No. 15 ranked Dakota State (S.D.) ballooned their winning streak to eight games after going 2-0 record in their home tournament.  She scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in DaSU’s 99-85 high scoring affair over (RV) College of the Ozarks (Mo.).  She also contributed five assists and three steals in the game.  She followed up with 10 points and collected a season-high 13 rebounds in Trojans’ 91-47 rout over Haskell (Kan.).  She had five steals and four assists in the game.  For the week, Walsdorf totaled 30 points and 25 rebounds.  She was 12-of-26 from the field.  She averaged 4.5 assists, 4.0 steals, and 1.0 block per game.

BISMARCK, ND (PlayNorthStar.com) – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has announced their fourth edition of the 2023-24 Men’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week Monday.  Jamison Kramer of Mayville State (N.D.) was selected to the conference weekly men’s basketball honor.

Jamison Kramer – Mayville State (N.D.) – 6’6″ – Senior – forward – Marion, N.D. – Kramer shot 64.7 percent overall from the field for the week as Mayville State (N.D.) went 2-0 record in the Coca-Cola Classic in Dickinson, N.D.  He poured in 34 points on his 15-of-21 field goals and posted a double-double with 10 rebounds in MSU’s 84-74 victory over Carroll (Mont.).  He followed up with 25 points on his 11-of-18 field goals as the Comets held on to defeat Montana Western 80-78.  He produced 16 points on his 7-of-12 field goals and grabbed eight rebounds in MSU’s 80-73 road victory at NCAA Division III Minnesota-Morris.   For the week, Kramer averaged 25.0 points per game.  He was 33-of-51 from the field, including 6-of-15 from the 3-point arc, and converted 3-of-6 free-throws.  He also collected 21 rebounds (7.0 rebounds per game) and registered five blocks for the week.
