PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – South Dakota Highway Patrol Troopers will be out in force this weekend as holiday traffic peaks.
Highway Patrol Superintendent, Colonel Rick Miller says fatal accidents are down this year.
Miller says people driving need to stay focused on the road.
Miller says they are also asking people to fasten their seat belts.
There have been 94 fatalities on South Dakota roads this year as of last week.
