MINNEAPOLIS, MN (HubCityRadio.com) – Over the weekend in the Twin Cities, Hub City Radio’s own David Tukesbrey won two Sevareid Awards for small market radio play-by-play for his work in 2022.
The awards, named for the North Dakota-born and University of Minnesota-educated journalist best known for his work as a correspondent for CBS Radio and Television, are presented each spring. The awards honor the best work done by student and professional journalists working for broadcast news operations in small, medium and large markets in our six-state region on radio, television and online.
Tukesbrey placed first (small market radio) for his play-by-play call of Presentation College Football during their shutout 21-0 Senior Day victory against Mayville State University on October 29th, 2022.
