BURNSVILLE, MN (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference released the 2021-22 Women’s Basketball All-Conference teams this morning. Northern State University Wolves Kailee Oliverson and Rianna Fillipi were named to the first and second team. Oliverson, Fillipi, and the Wolves continue NSIC Tournament play on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. versus No. 13 St. Cloud State.
Oliverson leads the Wolves averaging 15.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. She is currently shooting 43.7% from the floor and 33.3% from the 3-point line, starting all 25 games she has appeared in. In addition, Oliverson has 28 assists, 19 blocks, and 14 steals on the year. She has five double-doubles thus far and has recorded career highs in points (29), rebounds (14), and assists (4). Oliverson finished the regular season ranked in the top-5 of the NSIC in scoring.
Fillipi is second on the team averaging 11.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, through 27 games. She is shooting 38.4% from the floor and 33.9% from the 3-point line. Fillipi leads Northern State with 119 total assists and 55 steals, adding ten blocks as well. She set career highs this season in points (24), assists (10), and steals (7). In addition, she ranks in the top-10 of the NSIC in assists and steals.
