U.S. Army Corps of Engineers predict increase runoff for Missouri River system

OMAHA, N.E.(WNAX)- The Corps of Engineers is predicting runoff into the Missouri River system will increase just a bit this year.

Ryan Larsen with the Corps in Omaha says runoff will still be well below normal.

Larsen says their prediction is based on current snowpack across the plains and mountains.

Larsen says drought conditions persist across much of the basin.

All of the big upstream reservoirs are currently well below their historic flood pool levels.
