OMAHA, N.E.(WNAX)- Continued dry conditions across the Missouri River basin are reflected in the latest report from the Corps of Engineers.
Ryan Larsen, with the Corps in Omaha, says their runoff predictions have fallen further.
Larsen says most of the basin had below normal rain and runoff much of the summer.
Larsen says forecasts don’t indicate much change in runoff conditions.
In their monthly update, the Corps said releases from Gavins Point Dam near Yankton will be reduced to a winter minimum of twelve thousand cubic feet per second later this year.
