U.S. Army Corps of Enginneers adjust operations on the Missouri River reservoirs

OMAHA, N.E.(WNAX)- The Corps of Engineers is adjusting operations on the Missouri River reservoirs as the plains snow melt ended and the mountain snowpack melt continues.

Mike Swenson with the Corps office in Omaha says releases from Gavins Point Dam near Yankton will slowly increase.

Swenson says they are seeing more water in the system.

Swenson says the big upstream reservoirs have plenty of room for snow pack runoff.

Swenson says they expect normal runoff for the rest of the summer.
