WASHINGTON, D.C.(Hub City Radio)- The U.S. Senate on Tuesday voted 74-24 on a cloture vote for the Protect College Sports Act.  The vote allows the bill to be heard on the Senate floor.

On Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader John Thune talked about what the bill does.

Thune informed the Senate the amount of support there was for the bill.

The U.S. Senate is expected to vote on the bill this week.
