ABERDEEN, S.D.(Aberdeen American News)- The United Way of Northeastern South Dakota’s kicks off its annual fundraiser on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Malchow Plaza.
The theme this year is “Invest in what you value.” Executive Director Aaron Schultz said the United Way is aiming to raise more than $700,000, which is used to support a variety of local organizations.
Campaign packets and pledge cards will be available for pickup at the event for participating companies.
Leading the fundraising effort this year are Jim and Becky Kuck. Jim Kuck works at U.S. Bank. Becky Kuck is a therapist at Northern Plains Psychological Associates.
