VERMILLION, S.D. (WNAX) – University campuses across the state are quiet now but planning for the fall term is moving ahead rapidly.
University of South Dakota President Sheila Gestring says they would like to build on their small enrollment gain last fall.
Gestring says they are seeing smaller high school numbers in some of the areas they recruit.
Tuition will rise 3.4 percent for fall classes. Gestring says students and families are sensitive to any price increase.
Gestring says there is still time to enroll for fall classes.
