10th Avenue Bridge now open

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Prahm Construction out of Slayton, MN has been working on the 10th Avenue Bridge since the spring of 2024.

Aberdeen Mayor Travis Schaunaman announced on Wednesday that the bridge is now open.

At Monday night’s City Council meeting, one councilman expressed frustration with the progress on the bridge was Councilman Talmage Ekanger.

Ekanger talks about what exactly is the definition of getting things done on a timely manner.

Nelson remind the council that the area surrounding the bridge will be closed this spring for asphalt work around it.

The Aberdeen City Council voted 8-1 to approve payment of over $35,000 to Prahm Construction with Councilman Ekanger the only opposing it.
