ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- At Tuesday’s Brown County Commission meeting, Brown County Fair Manager Rachel Kippley provided an update on what’s happening at the Fairgrounds.

One topic discussed is the contract for a new gaga ball pit.  Kippley was joined by members of the Aberdeen Area Association of Realtors.

Former President of them, Joni Napton talked about the contract.

State Director for local board, Lorna Johnston told the commission the message she got from the state commission.

Fair Manager Rachel Kippley discuss expanding the Kids zone to include this.

Brown County Commission approved the contract, hope to have a dedication take place during the Brown County Fair.

Kippley provided updates on the upcoming fair.

Kippley also discussed fire safety measures being done at the Fairgrounds in association with the Aberdeen Hockey Association.

Brown County Fair goes from August 11th-17th.
