WATERTOWN, S.D.(KWAT)- The design work on the new Codington County Jail that’ll be built is just about done.

Sheriff Brad Howell has this update.

Once that’s done, the county commission will seek construction bids, and then construction work will begin this summer.

The 108-bed jail will be built on west Highway 212 at a cost of around $30 million.
