PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- Progress on Missouri Shore’s new expanded domestic violence shelter is moving along nicely.  Executive Director Sarah Reinhart met last week with the construction team building the House of Hope.

Reinhart says seeing the House of Hope coming to life brings a wave of emotions for her.

By and large the House of Hope is on-time for completion.

Reinhart says fundraising to cover the cost of the project is ongoing.

Discussions are still underway regarding the future of the current Missouri Shores Domestic Violence Shelter as to whether it will be retained or sold off.
