PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- After over two hours in executive session, the House Select Committee on Investigation of the South Dakota legislature has laid out the timeline for further movement in the process to consider impeachment of Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg. Committee Chair, Representative Spencer Gosch says the Committee will meet again on the legislative session’s 38th day.
Veto Day is just over two weeks away on March 28th. Gosch says the House will meet again in April.
Representative Kent Peterson made a motion to update a table of contents; however he did not get into any specifics of what was added or what the referenced table of contents pertains to. The Committee is investigating information surrounding the Attorney Generals actions and activities following a fatal vehicle/pedestrian crash he was involved in in September of 2020 in Hyde County. The crash killed 55 year-old Joseph Boever of Highmore.
