OMAHA, N.E.(WNAX)- Missouri River and reservoir levels are expected to continue to drop further into fall.
Mike Swenson with the Corps of Engineers in Omaha says Gavins Point Dam releases will hold steady for the next few weeks.
Releases from Gavins Point will be reduced to twelve thousand cubic feet per second this winter.
Swenson says water storage in the upstream reservoirs continues to fall.
Swenson says the big reservoirs are low and getting lower.
The climate outlooks continue to suggest drier and warmer than normal conditions for the next three months across the Missouri River basin.
