PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Tuesday, the Joint Committee on Appropriations receive an update on SB70 that looks to make an appropriation for the replacement of the Richmond Lake dam and spillway.

Greenfield inform them about the FEMA grant that the commission is looking to put in for Richmond Dam.

SB70 is looking to seek about $3 million for the project and was mentioned in Governor Noem’s budget address delivered in December.  The committee defer any decision on the project to a later date.
