The Brown County Commission heard updates from several departments Tuesday morning, Richmond Lake is at the desired level to start construction, the County Highway department is working on several projects around the County and the BCF is ramping up as we get closer and closer to the big event.

Fair Manager Rachel Kippley said finding enough volunteers is still a challenge and stressed that it is how they can keep the Fair free of charge to attend.

Kippley went on the talk about the easy and pain free process of signing up to help.

With the County Highway Department’s help, roads on the grounds have been paved, in addition to structures being painted and repaired, the Grounds will be in tip top shape.

Kippley also said tickets are on sale and sales are head of previous years by almost 2/3’s
