WASHINGTON, D.C.(WNAX)- The US Senate is moving to debate the trillion dollar plus infrastructure bill.

South Dakota Senator John Thune says there is agreement on moving forward.

Thune says members need time to understand the amend the bill.

Thune says it is a critical piece of legislation.

Senators are facing a deadline of sorts to pass the bill before they head out on their August break.
